Cooking Directions: For food safety, follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Heating appliances vary in power; adjust cooking times as necessary. These instructions are guidelines only. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Refrigerate leftovers. Do not refreeze. Microwave: Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave oven below 1100 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature. For best results, cook from frozen. Since cooking appliances vary, these directions are guidelines only. Place frozen spinach in a covered microwave safe dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Season to taste and serve. Stove Top: In a saucepan, place frozen spinach into 1 cup boiling water. Gently stir until water returns to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Season to taste and serve. Since cooking appliances vary, these directions are guidelines only. Cook thoroughly. Needs to be fully cooked. Caution: product will be hot. Perishable. Keep frozen.
