Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cook thoroughly. Cooking Instructions: A thermometer cannot be used to probe bacon due to the inadequate depth of the product; thermometer would not have an accurate temperature reading. All pork products must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Skillet: 1. Place bacon slices in unheated skillet. 2. Cook on medium heat 8-10 minutes or to desired crispness, turning frequently. 3. Drain on paper towels. Microwave: 1. Place bacon in single layer on paper towels on microwavable plate. 2. Cover with paper towel. 3. Microwave on high to desired crispness. 2 Slices: 1-1/2-2 minutes 4 Slices: 2-1/2-3 minutes. Conventional Oven: 1. Place bacon in single layer in shallow baking pan. 2. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or to desired crispness (no turning is necessary). 3. Drain on paper towels. Perishable. Keep refrigerated.
