Top of Stove Cooking: Place cob corn while still frozen in a suitable sauce pan and cover with salted or unsalted water cover pan. Heat to a temperature well below boiling (approx 170 degrees F) and hold at this temperature for 25-30 minutes. Do not boil remove from water and serve while hot. For quick serving, follow directions above but heat to boiling. Cover pan and simmer for 8 minutes. Microwave Instructions: Place 1/4 cup water and desired number of frozen corn on the cob (single layer) in a shallow microwaveable dish. Cover and microwave on high as directed below or until throughly heated, turning the ears over half-way through cook time. Note- microwave cooking times may vary depending on the particular appliance used. Number of Ears: 2; 800 Watt Oven: 3 minutes, turns ears, additional 3 minutes; 1200 Watt Oven: 2-1/2 minutes, turn ears, additional 2-1/2 minutes. Number of Ears: 4; 800 Watt Oven: 10 minutes, turns ears, additional 10 minutes; 1200 Watt Oven: 4 minutes, turn ears, additional 4 minutes. Number of Ears: 6; 800 Watt Oven: 11 minutes, turns ears, additional 11 minutes; 1200 Watt Oven: 5-1/2 minutes, turn ears, additional 5-1/2 minutes. Number of Ears: 8; Watt Oven: 14 minutes, turns ears, additional 14 minutes; 1200 Watt Oven: 7 minutes, turn ears, additional 7 minutes. For food safety and quality cook to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Store at or below 0 degrees F (-18 C degrees) or store in freezer compartment of the refrigerator.
