Remove excess fuel prior to lighting, do not fill a burning torch. Before refilling, carefully place the snuffer cap over the flame to extinguish. Filling & Lighting Instructions: Remove all packaging from the tabletop torch. Remove snuffer. While holding the torch base for stability, slowly fill torch with patio essentials brand torch fuel until fuel reaches fuel level indicator. Do not overfill wipe away any spilled fuel before lighting. Let the fiberglass torch wick saturate for approximately 10 minutes prior to lighting. Use a long lighter or long fireplace match to light the torch. Extinguishing: Use the snuffer to carefully place completely over wick until flame is extinguished -do not blow out. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before handling or refilling. Leave the snuffer cap on the torch to prevent water contamination when not in use. If the fuel becomes contaminated with water, the wick and the fuel must be replaced and properly disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations. Storage: Store fuel in original fuel bottle with cap secured and dispose of any unwanted fuel in accordance to local laws and regulations. Store in upright position. For best results, store product and fuel away from the weather conditions when not in use.
