Krug Ros is inspired by the dream of the fifth generation of the House of Krug to conceive a ros Champagne that did not yet exist. The dition number corresponds to the number of times in the House of Krug this dream has been re-created. Each dition of Krug Ros is a unique and expressive blend of different plots wines from a variety of years that together reveal contrast, texture, structure and flavours thanks to which this Champagne will beautifully accompany a wide variety of cuisines. Each year, to re-create the dream of the fifth generation of the Krug family of an unexpected, bold and elegant ros Champagne, the House starts by identifying plots wines from the current and previous years that will together convey all possible types of fruit expression. This composition then embraces a traditionally macerated red Pinot Noir wine, which adds spiciness, colour and structure. A stay of at least seven years in Krugs cellars gives Krug Ros its unique expression and elegance. As all Krug Champagnes, Krug Ros will continue to gain with the passage of time. Krug Ros 21me dition is a blend of 57 wines from 6 different years, the youngest of which is from 2008, while the oldest dates back to 2002. Its final composition is 51% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay and 8% Meunier. It was completed with 10% traditionally macerated Pinot Noir of the year.
