Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 4. Rice: 2 cups; Water: 4 cups; Yield: 6 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 8. Rice: 3 cups; Water: 6 cups; Yield: 9 cups. Servings (3/4 Cup Cooked): 12). 2. Stir in rice (Add 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired). 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
