Cooking Directions: 5 cups of water; 1 lb of peeled shrimp (medium to large); 1/2 cup chopped onions; 4 oz unsalted butter; 1 box of Ragin' Cajun Authentic Shrimp & Grits; 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (optional). Stove Top Directions: Combine shrimp, shrimp seasoning packet and onions in a bowl. Add Worcestershire Sauce (optional). Mix thoroughly and chill for 15 minutes. Melt butter in a skillet on medium heat. Add shrimp mixture from bowl and sautee until shrimp are pink (approximately 5 minutes). Whisk grits into 5 cups of boiling water, reduce heat to low and cook covered for 5 minutes (stir occasionally). Remove from heat and let set for 5 minutes. Spoon shrimp on top of grits in a serving bowl and enjoy! Optional: Add one strip cooked and chopped bacon, sprinkle on top. Serves 4-5.
